Lemon in the making.

One fine day, he sent an email inviting the whole team for a movie, Iron Man 2 was just released. I think it was a Saturday... I met him in Orchard. We walked around then he decided to buy a watch. Went to Fossil shop and bought one. 

Then off we go to Orchard Cineliesure, Dheeraj was waiting. Vipin was supposed to join us but he fell sick. So it's just the 3 of us. All I remember is him trying to bug me while watching because I was very "focused".

After the movie, we went to grab something to eat in Mc Donald's. Talked for maybe an hour and then decided we didn't want to go home yet so we thought, another movie? Dheeraj couldn't stay too late, so then there were 2.

I'm not sure which movie was it but it might be Bounty Hunter or something. Then we probably talked until early morning. Then it led to another movie on the next weekend or maybe Friday and then another one and then… too many to count.

Going back to the first day we met, Jan or Feb 2010?, my team lead introduced me to him and said, she'll be your mentor. I was so busy that I didn't really have time to help him out. He asked what's keeping me busy, I just said "issues". Then he said "what issues?!".  I said >.< … which translates to: see, I'm very busy right now and I don't really want to spend time explaining the whole thing to you. Sit. Don't move. Then he thought "wth?!" or maybe "wtf?!".

Few months later, I was still busy. It was around late April 2010 or early May that Razette and I had to go to India for 2 weddings. I remember chatting with him via YM about the dress/es that I should buy, I guess he would have told me what to do, what not to do (and the whole history around it >.<). Did i listen? No.

While we spend time together outside work, you'd think we've become really good friends. But no, we would argue almost everyday. He's stubborn, I'm impatient. He's impatient, I'm stubborn. He asks too many questions and will not settle for a yes or a no. I always had to explain why. I hated it!!! Well, mainly because of the way he asks - it felt like he didn't trust me at all - or what I was telling him. I think eventually I just let him do whatever he wanted, make a mistake if he must since he didn't want to listen. Smart ass. 

So I let him take me out to dinners, movies. I mean free dinner, free movie,  free cab ride home. And call me cheapo. Who cares?!

Then the holding hands, his arms on my shoulder. Then one day we went for one of that Larson trilogy - he was shaking, literally because of the a/c in the movie house. Oh I have an idea, why don't you just hug me so you'll feel warm.

He survived the movie but fell for me :)
